As a result of two research groups cooperation (one originating from Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages, University Politehnica of Bucharest Romania and a second one is Gora Datta’s group, University of Berkley, IEEE senior member and chair) we mention the most relevant research projects.
Out of the joint groups’ cooperation, based on our research areas, we present some results:
It offers the possibility of creating and managing medical forms, collecting answers from, patients/users management.
The application is composed of several modules, such as creating and administering patients, creating and administering forms, collecting answers given by patients.
The form creation module allows you to create it by defining each question individually (entering the question text, choosing the type of question, defining the possible answers to a question if applicable) or by uploading a pdf file where the questions are already defined.

Providing trust in an informational society in continuous motion without the participation of designated entities that may pose security issues is the main characteristic and purpose of blockchain technology. This technology presents a series of advantages such as integrity, availability, immutability of data, but, being a distributed peer-to-peer infrastructure, it has limits in terms of performance.
For example, Ethereum, one of the main blockchain infrastructures and protocols, has a current processing speed limited to ~15-20 transactions per second, reducing the short-term possibility of scaling to handle more transactions and requests, which is why solutions which allow the development of the ecosystem by increasing the number of transactions are necessary. The virtual appliance, as the first version, and physically, in a secondary version, that we propose is a software assembly consisting of the capabilities of a database with security provided by the chaining of blockchain-type blocks and their anchoring in the mainnet. Although the processing will be done off-chain, the data recording will be found in the mainnet, eliminating any possibility of changing the data in the appliance. The data from the appliance can remain private at the level of the beneficiary institution without anyone else being able to view them. Data anchoring in the appliance from other systems can be used for auditing. This appliance is an improved version of the one used in the 2020 elections in Romania.

This project is about designing and building a dress. The skirt part of the dress should change its form, it will be in a static state and after touching a temperature sensor, it will change its form. The corset part has a sensor and a led band, which will indicate if the person wearing it has an anatomically correct back position.
